Welcome

The date has been set for the Kentucky College & Career Day!
It is Friday, November 1, 2013 at the duPont Manual campus. The Kentucky College & Career Day is sponsored by Louisville’s Youth Performing Arts School, The Kentucky Center Governor's School for the Arts (GSA), and duPont Manual High School Visual Arts Magnet. This is an all day event where students and parents from all over Kentucky will meet with representatives from colleges and universities from around the country.

The day consists of two parts. The general college fair takes place during the morning. Then junior and senior students may participate in Portfolio Review sessions for Visual Art, New Media, Creative Writing, and Architecture; and Audition sessions in Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Dance, Drama and Musical Theater (by appointment only).

The college fair is a forum where students can meet Admission Representatives from a variety of schools to get information about their different programs, admission requirements, financial information, scholarship opportunities, housing, and much more. These Admission Representatives will have information about all of their different programs, not just those related to the performing and visual arts.

The Audition and Portfolio Review sessions will provide students interested in pursuing visual and performing arts in college, the opportunity to display their talents to college/university faculty members. Students interested in participating in portfolio review or auditions should click here for more information.
